Getting approved on OrdaBill takes two things: a complete business profile and working payout settings. This guide walks through every item on your compliance checklist, why we ask for it, and the common mistakes that delay approval.

Where to find your compliance checklist

Log in to your tenant dashboard and open Compliance — it is the second item in the menu, right under Dashboard. You will see a progress bar and two sections: Business details and Payout details. Every item shows a green tick when it is done, or an Add button that takes you straight to the page where you can complete it.

Until you are at 100%, a yellow reminder banner also appears at the top of every dashboard page.

Business details

Open Settings → Business Profile and fill in:

  • Business name — your registered trading name.
  • Business email and phone — a reachable email and phone number for billing and support.
  • Business registration number — the number on your BRS certificate or business name registration. This is required for approval.
  • Tax ID (KRA PIN) — optional, but recommended for tax reporting.
  • Physical address, city and country — where your business operates from.
  • Industry — the sector you work in, e.g. Internet Service Provider.

Common mistake: entering a P.O. Box only. Use a physical street address — the address is used for compliance checks and appears on customer-facing documents.

Payout details

Open Payout Settings and pick your bank from the list, then enter the account number and account holder name. Full guidance is in Payout settings and settlement explained, but here is the short version:

  • Choose the bank that holds the account you want to be paid into.
  • Enter the bank account number — not your phone number.
  • Enter the account holder name exactly as the bank has it.
  • Click save. The item Payout account verified turns green automatically once our payment provider accepts the account.

What happens after you reach 100%

Your compliance score turns green and your compliance menu item shows a Done badge. Your account is then ready for review and approval — usually within one business day. While you wait you can keep creating customers, invoices, plans and payment goals.

If a payment arrives before your payout settings are saved, OrdaBill holds it safely and settles it to you as soon as your account is approved — you never lose money during onboarding.
